SuperPuTTY is a Windows-based session manager and terminal emulator designed to enhance the usability of PuTTY, one of the most widely used SSH and telnet clients. Rather than replacing PuTTY, SuperPuTTY provides a multi-tabbed, dockable interface that allows users to open, organize, and manage multiple PuTTY sessions simultaneously from a single window. It supports various connection types including SSH, Telnet, Rlogin, Raw, and RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol), enabling both console and graphical remote access in one environment. SuperPuTTY adds convenience features such as session grouping, tab persistence, quick reconnect, and credential reuse across sessions. It also integrates a simple scripting language, allowing automation of repetitive tasks like login sequences or remote command execution. The interface is built using .NET and C#, offering an extensible architecture that supports plugins and customizable hotkeys.
