Open Source Java System Shells

JaguiD is a Java GUI for DOS. It consists of several sub-projects including a Java Compiler, a Class Runner and a Jar Packager. JaguiD has limited Java support to provide a Graphical User Interface for DOS and compatibles.

FLoM is a free open source distributed lock manager that can be used to synchronize shell commands, scripts and custom developed software. When used in a shell environment, FLoM manages process synchronization in the same way that "nice" manages process prioritization. Shell commands, scripts and custom programs can be synchronized inside a single system or in a network of IP connected systems. FLoM supports different types of abstract resources: simple, numeric, set, hierarchical and transactional sequence. libflom, the library shipped with FLoM, allows you to develop your own application using a simple C, C++, Java, Perl, PHP or Python client API. SSL/TLS security for network communication, X.509 certificates for peer to peer mutual authentication.

KTable is a custom SWT table widget that provides a flexible grid of cells to display data. Since it is custom-drawn, it does not have the restrictions of the native SWT Table control.

JScript is Java Interpreter that parse and execute pure java code and share the resource with current JVM. In addition, a java command line console is included. It's easy to create script program in Java grammar by it.

JCmd is a pure Java command shell that is highly configurable and extensible.

If you are a struggling occasional user of Bash, or would be a user if it weren't so difficult to get started, then this program will help. Runs on Linux or Windows Subsystem for Linux.

CLXmlToolkit is a command line utility written in Java to perform changes on a xml document using JDOM.

CyberSenioren is a gui-interface for people in later adulthood(Seniors). This interface is a full working environment. It is possible to add own plugins. Also a Manager which makes automatically backups in background is integrated.

GUI for linux command execution
