Dompdf
HTML to PDF converter for PHP
dompdf is an HTML to PDF converter. At its heart, dompdf is (mostly) a CSS 2.1 compliant HTML layout and rendering engine written in PHP. It is a style-driven renderer, it will download and read external stylesheets, inline style tags, and the style attributes of individual HTML elements. It also supports most presentational HTML attributes. PDF rendering is currently provided either by PDFLib or by a bundled version the R&OS CPDF class written by Wayne Munro. (Some important changes have been made to the R&OS class, however). In order to use PDFLib with dompdf, the PDFLib PECL extension is required. Using PDFLib improves performance and reduces the memory requirements of dompdf somewhat, while the R&OS CPDF class, though slightly slower, eliminates any dependencies on external PDF libraries. -

XPath expressions are incredibly flexible, so there is almost always an XPath expression that will find the element you need. Unfortunately, they can also become very complicated, and the learning curve is steep. Even common operations (such as finding an element with a particular class) can require long and unwieldy expressions. CSS selectors are less powerful than XPath, but far easier to write, read and understand. Since they are less powerful, almost all CSS selectors can be converted to an XPath equivalent. This XPath expression can then be used with other functions and classes that use XPath to find elements in a document. Not all CSS selectors can be converted to XPath equivalents. There are several CSS selectors that only make sense in the context of a web-browser. Pseudo-elements (:before, :after, :first-line, :first-letter) are not supported because they select portions of text rather than elements. -

This is the Laravel version of our menu package adds some extras like convenience methods for generating URLs and macros. Virtually every website displays some sort of menu. Generating html menus might seem simple, but it can become complex very quickly. Not only do you have to render some basic html, but you also have to manage which item is active. If a menu has a submenu you'll also want the parents of an active item to be active. Sometimes you want to insert some html between menu items. There are some packages out there that can help generating menus, but most of them have a messy API or have become victims of feature creep. That's why we decided to create our own modern menu package that has a beautiful API to work with. We have provided full documentation containing lots of examples. Emogrifier converts CSS styles into inline style attributes in your HTML code. This ensures proper display on email and mobile device readers that lack stylesheet support. This utility was developed as part of Intervals to deal with the problems posed by certain email clients (namely Outlook 2007 and GoogleMail) when it comes to the way they handle styling contained in HTML emails. As many web developers and designers already know, certain email clients are notorious for their lack of CSS support. While attempts are being made to develop common email standards, implementation is still a ways off. The primary problem with uncooperative email clients is that most tend to only regard inline CSS, discarding all style elements and links to stylesheets in link elements. Emogrifier solves this problem by converting CSS styles into inline style attributes in your HTML code. -

Parsedown is capable of escaping user-input within the HTML that it generates. Additionally Parsedown will apply sanitisation to additional scripting vectors (such as scripting link destinations) that are introduced by the markdown syntax itself. If you wish to allow HTML within untrusted user-input, but still want output to be free from XSS it is recommended that you make use of a HTML sanitiser that allows HTML tags to be whitelisted, like HTML Purifier. In both cases you should strongly consider employing defence-in-depth measures, like deploying a Content-Security-Policy (a browser security feature) so that your page is likely to be safe even if an attacker finds a vulnerability in one of the first lines of defence. Safe mode does not necessarily yield safe results when using extensions to Parsedown. Extensions should be evaluated on their own to determine their specific safety against XSS. -

Once you have the files for Style Guide Boilerplate, you'll create a directory on your site for them. Style Guide Boilerplate is currently PHP based so you will need a server that supports PHP. Upload the files from the GitHub repo to your newly created directory. In the head of Style Guide Boilerplate are custom styles for the boilerplate itself. These have all been prefixed with sg- so they hopefully shouldn't cause any conflicts with your website's own styles. You should be able to go to yoursite.com/style-guide/ and see how your live site's CSS affects base elements. The last step is creating your site's custom patterns/modules. To create custom patterns like buttons, breadcrumbs, alert messages, etc., create a new .html file and add your HTML markup into the file. -

Well used (on Mac, have just resurrected Windows variant) X-platform web development tool that permits site sharing via exports/import zip files of pretty much any web site you care to develop. It can be easily exported between platforms, even look/feel styles (css) can be exchanged in the same manner. If you hit problems, please let me know and I can then try to fix them. I have had a stroke and am operating with a greatly reduced mental stamina, and I can't think clearly for very long as a result, rather like having a low battery!. Basically this is a language independent multilingual English (US & UK), Welsh and any others that can be thought of (help still needed on the translation process) tool. Just 1 button and the whole interface changes language! Free but we are hopeful of gaining enough supporters to make the whole project viable via donations. Try it, you'll like it! It has taken many years of work on my own to get it to this stage, I look forward to seeing it grow. -
