The Data Migration Tool Automator is tool for simplifying the use of the Filemaker Data Migration Tool (FDMT) . The FDMT is a command line tool published by Filemaker that facilitates the migration of data from an existing production database to a new clone version of the same database. The problem with the FDMT is that it is a command line tool which requires long and complicated instructions to execute. It can take several attempts and a lot of time to get the exact instruction you need. The Filemaker Data Migration Tool Automator is a Filemaker database which makes it easy to create the command line syntax and calls the terminal scripts for the Filemaker Data Migration Tool. Three versions are included in this download: 1) The raw FMP12 File which can be run on Filemaker Pro 16 or higher or Filemaker server. (may work on older versions but not tested) 2) Compiled runtime App for Mac 3) Compiled runtime App for Windows The compiled runtime Apps do not require a copy of Filemaker Pro to run. The FMP12 file can run as a stand alone single user system or as a multi-user on Filemaker Server with Web Direct. It should also run in Filemaker go on iPad but we have not tested it yet. Sigma can connect all the data elements which ensure that changes in status of one element is reflected in all related elements. Sigma is written for the Filemaker Server platform. Users can access via Filemaker WebDirect or via the Filemaker Pro Client. Sigma can run in stand alone mode on Filemaker Pro 16 or higher. However some functions may not work fully. TSI-VC is a document version control system. I created it because I did not like any of the other free version control systems out there. They were all too complicated and not intuitive. TSI-VC is designed run on Filemaker Server with WebDirect delivery. The system has a clean and simple user interface while tightly managing check in and check out procedures. It is ideal for building documents collaboratively across groups. Examples include technical specifications, commercial bid preparation or any other document that requires multiple authors. Since it uses Filemaker containers it can be use for any file type including PDF, DOC, ZIP, XLS, DDG etc. The system can also be used for basic document distribution to non-registered users.
