MinGW: A native Windows port of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building native Windows applications; includes extensions to the MSVC runtime to support C99 functionality. rr aspires to be your primary C/C++ debugging tool for Linux, replacing — well, enhancing — gdb. You record a failure once, then debug the recording, deterministically, as many times as you want. The same execution is replayed every time. rr also provides efficient reverse execution under gdb. Set breakpoints and data watchpoints and quickly reverse-execute to where they were hit. rr works on real applications and is used by many developers to fix real bugs. It makes debugging hard bugs much easier, but also speeds up debugging of easy bugs.

CDK4AVR stands for Cross Development Kit for Atmels AVR RISC processor serie and should you support with a comprehensive Assembler and C development environment for even this processor familie under Linux or similar host systems.

HT is a file editor/viewer/analyzer for executables. The goal is to combine the low-level functionality of a debugger and the usability of IDEs. We plan to implement all (hex-)editing features and support of the most important file formats.

edb is a cross platform AArch32/x86/x86-64 debugger. It was inspired by Ollydbg, but aims to function on AArch32, x86, and x86-64 as well as multiple OS's. Linux is the only officially supported platform at the moment, but FreeBSD, OpenBSD, OSX, and Windows ports are underway with varying degrees of functionality.

RenderDoc is a free MIT licensed stand-alone graphics debugger that allows quick and easy single-frame capture and detailed introspection of any application using Vulkan, D3D11, OpenGL & OpenGL ES or D3D12 across Windows 7 - 10, Linux, Android, Stadia, or Nintendo Switch™. I work on RenderDoc myself and you can always contact me with any problems or comments. I'll respond to you directly and personally, and I'm used to helping people with private or NDA'd projects. RenderDoc is 100% open source and development all happens on github. Check out the source and see how any feature is implemented, report a bug you've found, or request a new feature or improvement. Usability matters. Tools should have a low barrier to entry and be easy to use and understand. RenderDoc makes the process of getting started as smooth as possible, and simplifies common workflows. Support is distributed separately for authorized developers as part of the NintendoSDK.

CxxTest is a unit testing framework for C++ that is similar in spirit to JUnit, CppUnit, and xUnit. CxxTest is easy to use because it does not require precompiling a CxxTest testing library, it employs no advanced features of C++ (e.g. RTTI) and it supports a very flexible form of test discovery.

Cinemagoer is a Python package useful to retrieve and manage the data of the IMDb movie database about movies, people, characters and companies. Platform-independent, it can retrieve data from both the IMDb's web server and a local copy of the whole db.

DUMA (Detect Unintended Memory Access) is a multi-platform memory debugging library. It can detect memory leaks and buffer overruns (or underruns) in a malloc() / new memory buffer.
