jsii allows code in any language to naturally interact with JavaScript classes. It is the technology that enables the AWS Cloud Development Kit to deliver polyglot libraries from a single codebase! A class library written in TypeScript can be used in projects authored in TypeScript or Javascript (as usual), but also in C# (and other languages from the .NET family), Go, Java, Python, etc. More languages will be added in the future! Due to JSON marshaling costs and the absence of a distributed garbage collector feature, jsii modules are best suited for development and build tools, as opposed to performance-sensitive or resource-constrained applications. By compiling our source module using jsii, we can now package it as modules in one of the supported target languages. Each target module has the exact same API as the source. The AzureRM Terraform Provider allows managing resources within Azure Resource Manager. When using version 3.0 of the AzureRM Provider we recommend using Terraform 1.x. Whilst older versions of Terraform Core (0.12.x and later) remain compatible with v3.0 of the AzureRM Provider. The Azure Provider can be used to configure infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using the Azure Resource Manager API's. We recommend using either a Service Principal or Managed Service Identity when running Terraform non-interactively (such as when running Terraform in a CI server) - and authenticating using the Azure CLI when running Terraform locally. -

Terraform module which creates VPC resources on AWS. By default this module will provision new Elastic IPs for the VPC's NAT Gateways. This means that when creating a new VPC, new IPs are allocated, and when that VPC is destroyed those IPs are released. Sometimes it is handy to keep the same IPs even after the VPC is destroyed and re-created. To that end, it is possible to assign existing IPs to the NAT Gateways. This prevents the destruction of the VPC from releasing those IPs, while making it possible that a re-created VPC uses the same IPs. By default, if NAT Gateways are enabled, private subnets will be configured with routes for Internet traffic that point at the NAT Gateways configured by use of the above options. Since AWS Lambda functions allocate Elastic Network Interfaces in proportion to the traffic received, it can be useful to allocate a large private subnet for such allocations, while keeping the traffic they generate entirely internal to the VPC. -
