Open Source PHP Barcode Generators

This project implements a subset of Epson's ESC/POS protocol for thermal receipt printers. It allows you to generate and print receipts with basic formatting, cutting, and barcodes on a compatible printer. The library was developed to add drop-in support for receipt printing to any PHP app, including web-based point-of-sale (POS) applications. Many thermal receipt printers support ESC/POS to some degree. This library is designed for use with the composer PHP dependency manager. To make use of this driver, your server (where PHP is installed) must be able to communicate with your printer. Start by generating a simple receipt and sending it to your printer using the command-line.

This is a barcode generation package inspired by https://github.com/tecnickcom/TCPDF. Actually, I use that package's underline classes for generating barcodes. This package is just a wrapper of that package and adds compatibility with Laravel 5.

I designed this app to make stocktaking easier for Myob and a Motorola MC9000. It has a inventory that Myob and any other software that uses CSV exporting can import into and a low resolution version of the pages for low resolution barcode scanner PC's like the MC9000 for convenience. The finished stock take does NOT import into a program but compares databases and shows the changes required in the programs item database.
