Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. It infers the geometry of a scene from a set of unordered photographies or videos. Photography is the projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D plane, losing depth information. The goal of photogrammetry is to reverse this process. The dense modeling of the scene is the result yielded by chaining two computer vision-based pipelines, “Structure-from-Motion” (SfM) and “Multi View Stereo” (MVS). Fusion of Multi-bracketing LDR images into HDR. Alignment of panorama images. Support for fisheye optics. Automatically estimate fisheye circle or manually edit it. Kokua is an open source metaverse viewer project based on the Second Life Viewer source. Disclaimer: This software is not provided or supported by Linden Lab, the makers of Second Life. A lightweight and powerful python module for scientific analysis and visualization of 3d objects. Inspired by the vpython manifesto "3D programming for ordinary mortals", vedo makes it easy to work with 3D pointclouds, meshes and volumes, in just a few lines of code, even for less experienced programmers. vedo is based on VTK and numpy, with no other dependencies. Import meshes from VTK format, STL, Wavefront OBJ, 3DS, Dolfin-XML, Neutral, GMSH, OFF, PCD (PointCloud). Export meshes as ASCII or binary to VTK, STL, OBJ, PLY formats. Analysis tools like Moving Least Squares, mesh morphing and more. Tools to visualize and edit meshes (cutting a mesh with another mesh, slicing, normalizing, moving vertex positions, etc..). Split mesh based on surface connectivity. Extract the largest connected area. Calculate areas, volumes, center of mass, average sizes etc. Calculate vertex and face normals, curvatures, feature edges. Fill mesh holes.

PyOpenGL is the binding layer between Python and OpenGL.

This work extends 3DDFA, named 3DDFA_V2, titled Towards Fast, Accurate and Stable 3D Dense Face Alignment, accepted by ECCV 2020. The supplementary material is here. The gif above shows a webcam demo of the tracking result, in the scenario of my lab. This repo is the official implementation of 3DDFA_V2. Compared to 3DDFA, 3DDFA_V2 achieves better performance and stability. Besides, 3DDFA_V2 incorporates the fast face detector FaceBoxes instead of Dlib. A simple 3D render written by c++ and cython is also included. This repo supports the onnxruntime, and the latency of regressing 3DMM parameters using the default backbone is about 1.35ms/image on CPU with a single image as input. See requirements.txt, tested on macOS and Linux platforms. The Windows users may refer to FQA for building issues. Note that this repo uses Python3. The major dependencies are PyTorch, numpy, opencv-python and onnxruntime, etc.

Crystal Space is an Open Source 3D SDK for Unix, Windows, and MacOS/X. It renders with OpenGL and features GLSL shaders, CG shaders, deferred rendering, dynamic shadows, bullet based physics library, terrain engine, skeleton based animation meshes, exporter for Blender, portals, etc...

This project is not currently being supported but feel free to use it as an example. delta3d is a robust simulation platform built using open standards and open source software. It features full toolchain development supporting a wide variety of free and commercial software.

GLE is a library of C functions that draw extruded surfaces, including surfaces of revolution, sweeps, tubes, polycones, polycylinders and helicoids. GLE uses the OpenGL(R) API to perform the actual rendering.

GXSM -- Gnome X Scanning Microscopy: A multi-channel image and vector-probe data acquisition and visualization system designed for SPM techniques (STM,AFM..), but also SPA-LEED/LEED/LEEM data analysis. A plug-in interface allows any user add-on data-processing and special hardware and instrument support. Latest: NC-AFM and related explorative methods as SQDM can be configured. High-Speed external PAC-PLL hardware option with digital DSP link. Based on several hardware options it supports a commercially available DSP hardware and provided also Open Source Code for all the low level signal processing tasks and instrument controls in a most flexible and adaptable manner. UPDATE: Chromium is no longer updated or maintained. The project is frozen. Chromium is a flexible framework for scalable real-time rendering on clusters of workstations, derived from the Stanford WireGL project code base.

XreaL is a heavily improved Quake 3 Arena engine. It's bundled with new tools and a demo game that was never finished. ET:XreaL is a subproject bringing all XreaL enhancements to Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

CorEngine is a work in progress, OpenGL graphics powered 3D game engine designed to help independent game developers with quick prototyping and game/virtual environment creation. The engine supports a standard set of features, like skeletal animation, post processing, Lua/C programming, physics powered by Bullet Physics, GUI and 2D/3D Audio.

The Vizard research community is dedicated to sharing virtual reality projects that are used by behavioral scientists. These projects are developed on the Vizard platform and have been made open-source for anyone to use or modify.
