I'm using WampServer in my dev environment for many years. It's a fantastic product. Many thanks to the authors.

Waste of an hour. Downloaded, followed typical install. Once installed I got error message: can't run because missing MSVCR110.dll. Said to run the install again, so I did. Same thing. I uninstalled all componenets, downloaded again. Reinstalled and got same exact message 3 times. Unable to use it!

You have not read the warning regarding the prerequisites. And yet, this warning begins with: BEFORE proceeding with the installation of Wampserver, you must ensure that certain elements are installed on your system, otherwise Wampserver will absolutely not run, and in addition, the installation will be faulty and you need to remove Wampserver BEFORE installing the elements that were missing. And this warning is displayed just before the installation actually starts.

WAMP seems not to be compatable with windows XP any longer. WAMP 2.2 gives a start up error after install. There are a number of request for help in the form with no answers.

Wamps server works smoothly! But I haven't been able to install CMSMS on it yet that is not so nice.. Don't know where the error is though on CMSMS or on Wamp.. or on my poor knowledge in advance programming, and servers.. 8P
