It came up with item not to anything else. Checked the drawing closely at locations indicated and removed the connection and redrew the wires same problem or it moved to a different location. Repeated the procedure and it moved back to the original location. I deleted both lines in the net and redrew them but the error keeps coming back. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Grid Snap Units in inches Reverts to mm

The radio button Settings/Grid Settings/ Ruler Settings/Units in inches can be selected and the User set grid spacing can be set to 100 with .001". However, when changing the grid spacing, the grid defaults back to mm spacings but is only displayed in inches. That is, the grid spacing is not .100/.050/.025/... inches but is instead .078740/.03937/.01969/... inches or 2/1/.5/... mm. Thus working in inches is not possible as the actual grid spacing always defaults back to mm when changing the grid size.

#217 Help with AND gate symbol

You will have to make you own version of the 4081. Follow the instructions in the Wiki to create your own library. Export the AND gate from the 74 library and import it in to your new library. Edit the pin numbers. Save the part.

Once you have your new part go to your schematic and right click on the AND symbol, and select "Replace Symbol". Replace you existing symbol with your new one, and all should be well.

Help with AND gate symbol

Matt,
I told you that I figured out how to change the pin numbers on the gates in Tiny Cad - this was true. I am designing a unique circuit and needed to use some AND gates, XOR gates and HEX inverters - I am using CMOS chips. I mistakenly used the symbols for TTL logic parts and printed a design where AND gate B of the CMOS 4081 chip came out with input pins 4 & 5 and output pin 6 and it should have been input pins 5 & 6 and output pin 4. How do you go about adding CMOS packages to the library?

TinyCAD 3.00.01 Download - VirusTotal Flags Maleware

TinyCAD Version 3.00.01 download from SourceForge shows 3 malware engines detected when scanned with VirusTotal (online version); see attched VirusTotal report.

K.G. A. Installes VC++ redist without notice (Minor)
B. Forces automatice system restart without notice.

B. is a serious issue. I had no warning or time to save open work, or log out of other accounts.
