feature request: allow closing of main window

I think it would be nicer if StreamRipperX would let the user close the
main window and still continue its operation. This is inline with how
iTunes works. It would make the program feel more like a native mac
program if this was the case. Even better would be some indications on
top of the dock icon that shows what the status is.

The last entry in the File menu (probably "Listen in iTunes")
is misspelled:

"in iTunes höhren" should be "in iTunes hören"

Streamripper worked just fine until I upgraded to iTunes 4.5
yesterday. Now everytime I try to play a song through
Streamripper, iTunes "quits unexpectedly". Hope you can fix that.

incorrect splitting songs into different files

Multiple times stream ripper has failed to split the songs
accurately. Where the song files start with a tail end of the
previous song and prematurely end.

MPU Download Loop

1. I try ripping an MPU file: From iTunes I drag and
drop into SRX a MPU linked to a MP3 from MP3.com (it's
a free download mp3)
2. It rips it in a loop: When SRX gets to the end of
ripping the song it starts ripping it again
3. I hit the stop button and it seems to pend or pause:
The blue status bar freezes and the stop button does
not return to the gear button (it stays as the stop button)
4. I have to force quit to have it stop: My song is
fully ripped but to have to force quit with each ripped
song would not be too much fun ;)

I also would like to suggest a feature that would allow
you to select mulitple items to be ripped all together
in order, instead of having to select one by one to be
ripped.

Please respond to this with a fix, or a referal to an
app that can rip MPU's. Thanks

Stream keeps re-downloading

I just tried StreamRipperX (1.03) for the first time. I first played a
song from MP3.com:

The song began playing in iTunes. I then dragged the song from
iTunes into the "Drag'n'drop from iTunes" folder in StreamRipper,
and pushed the rip button. The song began downloading, but when
it finished, it began downloading again (I could tell by watching teh
file size information). After watching it download for the third or
fourth time, I clicked on the rip button again to stop it.

The file that I had in my folder was actually a full version, but it's
in the incomplete folder.

So, for some reason, StreamRipper never figured out it had
finished downloading the file, even though it had.

hi freaks,
i use G4 400 OSX 10.2
using the current radiostation, streamripperX save every song in a
own file. but, at beginning tp write the new file, streamripperX
overwrite the previous file. please fix it. streamripperX is with this
bug unusable for me.

V 1.0.1 - Drag and Drop.

Noticed to day that although V 1.0.1 is to support drag
and drop of radio stations from iTunes, I can no longer
drag and drop staions directly from the Shoutcast
website. Repeated attempt to do so caused
StreamRipperX to crash.

I reverted to V 1.0 and this ability was restored.

My system is running OS X.1.5

Creating file with odd char. stops rip

When streamripper encounters a song with a name containing a strange character (˙ is the offender, who knows how your encoding will render it :-) it throws up an error complaining that it couldn't create the file, and ceases ripping. The ripper can't be resumed until that song has finished.

There are a couple songs in their rotation which will trigger this (though you may have to leave it going a few hours.)

I was able to play through iTunes 2.0.4 just fine
(using localhost:8000). But since upgrading to iTunes
3, this feature no longer works.
