Since then Open Workbench was merged with what today is Broadcom's Clarity. I cannot think where you would get the API and whether is would work with any Workbench from recent years. When used with Clarity OWB stores data in the Clarity database. Though data can also be stored in files. You can use many database tools to access the Clarity database so you really do not need an API.
