You don't need to compile anything, simply unzip and run it. Anyway take into account that it is an unstable version, it has bugs. It it does not work for you, please fill a bug in github project. But, as the previous poster said, it appears to be discontinued... shame... After that execute obs.bat for windows, obs.sh for linux. I'll check how to launch for Mac and tell you Anyway, before that you need java installed in your PC. I test the software and, at least in linux, does not work for version later than java 8.
