Gravity crashes on startup with OOM error

Gravity is reaching the 3GB limit in memory usage and crashes (never noticed Gravity is using so much of mem). Yesterday it still worked.
Installed some Windows updated

Image Gallery Error code

Hi:

I'm using ver. 2.7B on a Windows 98 OS. When I try to
launch the Image Gallery from View menu,. I get a
message that says "Could not launch Image Gallery.
Error Code 2"

What did I not install or do wrong?

Deleting multiple headers

There's a fairly serious issue where deleting multiple
headers eats up system resources and takes *way* too
long.

I'm in a few newsgroups that have several thousand
posts per day. To make it easier for me to read them or
download from them (since I need to be able to see
messages marked as read), and also to save space, I
delete posts that I'm not interested in - sometimes
several thousand at a time. This is, in fact, the one
reason I initially chose Gravity over Forte Free-Agent -
because Gravity allows the option of deleting posts.

The problem is that this not only causes Gravity to
freeze up while it's working, but it also eats up all of the
rest of my system resources, so a group with 50,000
new posts will take up to 2 hours of me selecting, hitting
the delete key, then sitting there twiddling my thumbs
for ten minutes because my computer can't do anything
else to speak of while Gravity is deleting.

This should not be. It shouldn't be any more problematic
to delete 5000 posts than it is to delete one.

I'm guessing that the problem is that the code is trying
to rethread the newsgroup after deleting each item:

Item.Delete
RethreadNewsgroup
Next

...When what it *should* do, is this:

For Each Item in Items.Selected
Item.Delete
Next
RethreadNewsgroup

Please change this as soon as possible. It's eating up
literally hours of my time that I can't afford.

Retrieving Headers

Why does it take hours to retrieve even a 1000
headers? Transfer sped immediately goes down to 0.
This happens more than half the time. If i try to retrieve
many headers it could take all day.

log in issue

I submitted a problem a few days ago regarding a log in
issues and it appears that the source of this issue is a
username that contains a space in it. once the
username was changed to have no space the log in
issue was resolved. The news server is one that
requires an id/pswrd.
