I'd like to use libtirpc in an embedded system where modern glibc no longer exports an RPC interface. But I don't need or have NIS or DES libraries on the system. It would be nice if libtirpc would detect that NIS and DES interfaces are not installed and disable their use. Or at least expose a manual enable control for these in the configure script.

As per the README in the version 0.20 it says "The server-side interfaces \(svc\_create, svc\_run, etc.\) are not thread safe in this release". There is also another support ticket \#2459484. I looked thru the code and found that, there is a func called rpc\_control. Can you please let me know if the current release is \(thread-safe or not \) from server side. Please help. Thanks Raghu
