For Leopard I "only" needed to maintain the classic WebKit Objective-C API compatible with the Safari application - no WebKit2 APIs fortunately. I have been following WebKit for Leopard for years, even if I don't use it much, and never was able to relink anything through my admin account... Last week I had to use a lot my old G5 and finally got the idea to try relinking through the Root user and it worked! (did Mail and Safari) Is it normal behaviour? If so, you should mention it in the readme.
