I am using the ErgoAI 3.0 and have to load some Flora-2 codes with the version 0.99.5. Is there any tool helping me to convert them to the lastest version please? Thanks!

Hi Michael,

I was wondering how important is it to use System.exit(); when using the Flora-2 java interface?
Is it not enough just to close the Flora-2 session? The reason I am asking this is that I have set up a webservice using Flora-2 and I noticed that everytime I make a call to the webservice to start a new Flora-2 session, the Java thread count goes up. If I use System.exit();, it shuts down the Tomcat server that I use for the webservice. Just wanted to check.

Hi Michael,

I am just tryin got the Java-Flora2 interface with the example given in the Flora-2 Packages guide.

I get the following error:

Exception in thread "main" net.sf.flora2.API.util.FlrException: Error in query ?X:person@basic_mod.
at net.sf.flora2.API.PrologFlora.FloraCommand(PrologFlora.java:280)
at net.sf.flora2.API.FloraSession.ExecuteQuery(FloraSession.java:211)
at test.main(test.java:25)
Caused by: com.declarativa.interprolog.util.IPException: Unexpected problem, probably malformed query
at net.sf.flora2.API.PrologFlora.FloraCommand(PrologFlora.java:272)

I am not sure what is happening. Do you have any thoughts?

Modules in Flora2 0.95 and 0.96.1

Hi,

Looks like import of modules behave differently in Flora2 0.95 and 0.96.1,
i.e. like imported predicates are included in auto-export in 0.96.1
whereas in Flora 0.95 they are not.

Attached a minimal illustrating example.

In Flora 0.95:

Look like the write in in the definition of %P(?) is executed 3 times, once directly via direct import from a, once via import from b, once via import from c.
Is this an intended change and I've adapt to it or a bug that will be fixed?
