Included object files are from jasper-1.900.1, precompiled with Borland C++ Compiler 5.5 (free). The jasper library is compiled WITHOUT any modification using the included bat file.

This Project is oriented to the people recently initiated in programming. The aim of this project is to translate pseudo code to real pascal code for testing. And with plugins or dictionaries, It can translate to any programation language.

PureGEM started out as a VCL/LCL style library written in PurePascal. After the system was working, I saw ways to increase the speed while reducing code size, so the design drifted somewhat. Since PurePascal is "Turbo Pascal 7.0 compatible" a number of VCL style features needed to be implemented differently. Namely TNotifyEvent's are replaced with owner recursive methods. RTTI features are implemented via set's. Initially I had planned to use more of the GEM API, but some of the features I wanted required replacing all window elements. This is a new library, so expect code to change. I will be working on this for the next 1-2 years. cheers Derek

Based upon my 20+ year old super fast QCrt text mode display driver, QuickCrt is an event driven object-oriented framework for rapid application development using Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS. Completely self contained, it uses no 3rd party or original Borland units (excluding the built-in System unit). It uses no Turbo Vision and is more like Delphi minus the drag and drop. It has support for String formatting, Custom text fonts, Themes, Keyboard mappings, Config files and Multiple languages baked into it. However, this initial version is more of a "Proof of Concept" and engine for PGME. Rather than an actual project. It has some serious limitations. Since it was built in a "vacuum" with no pre-planning, it is a little bit of spaghetti code. Also, it doesn't support real windowing, multi-tasking or draw behind visible objects. QCrt 9 is currently under development. It is a complete rewrite in assembly with TP wrappers. It is being hosted at http://github.com/LoopZ/QCrt
