PyX is a Python package for the creation of EPS, PS, PDF and SVG files. It combines an abstraction of the PostScript drawing model with a TeX/LaTeX interface. Complex tasks like 2d and 3d plots in publication-ready quality are built out of these primitives.

Pyllar is a 3D plotting library for the Python programming language. It uses the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) and PyNum library provide high quality 3D plots for science and engineering.

The Python Computer Graphics Kit is a collection of Python modules that contain the basic types and functions to be able to create 3D computer graphics images (focusing on Pixar's RenderMan interface).

The main purpose of "python2xlw" is to create an Excel-compatible file which can be sent to users via the web as an excel application. The motivation is mainly to support the display of XY Scatter plots and tabular numerical data(eg engineering data)

During acoustic surveys of marine ecosystems, fisheries scientists need to quickly interpret large amounts of echosounder data and decide whether and where to sample for targeted organisms. The Python Open Source Echosounder Toolkit (pyOSET) was designed to facilitate this process by providing near real-time visualization of network data broadcasts from multiple echosounder systems, and to serve as a framework for implementation of algorithms to detect, locate, and identify fish or the seabed. An Alpha release of the software is available under the GNU General Public License, version 2. Many practical aspects of the user interface are still in the planning and development phase. Those who wish to participate in the development of pyOSET are encouraged to subscribe to the Developer's Mailing List. PyOSG is a python wrapper for the OpenSceneGraph. Version number corresponds to the version of OpenSceneGraph that PyOSG should work with (e.g. PyOSG 2.8 should work with OpenSceneGraph 2.8.x). Still in early stages, so email mday299 if any problems!

Quick2dPlot, or q2d for short, is an open source minimalistic plotting program designed for live 2d graphical representation of data streams. The program may be useful for plotting output of different user's application programs, especially in case when the user wants to see a plot or a number of plots during calculations or a data acquisition process. The program is command-driven and uses no widgets. Q2d is written in C, it takes advantage of SDL2 library for plotting. Currently it has been tested under Linux and under Windows via Cygwin.
