A Celery system can consist of multiple workers and brokers, giving way to high availability and horizontal scaling. Celery is written in Python, but the protocol can be implemented in any language. -

This project (licensed under LGPLv3) provides full documented procedures to build PostgreSQL from sources (and some additional extensions / Foreign Data Wrappers: sqlite_fdw, www_fdw, mysql_fdw, ldap_fdw, couchdb_fdw, oracle_fdw, odbc_fdw...) using MinGW-w64 (recent versions of gcc - 4.8.0 or later). It also provides ready made binaries/releases targetting Win32 as well as Win64 (Windows7). Note: Installers are also released to make easy the installation of the PostgreSQL extensions mentioned above in PostgreSQL installations made from the official Windows 7 - 32-bit and 64-bit - installers (those extensions releases - DLLs - being fully compatible with the said installers). -

nix-output-monitor (also known as nom) is a workflow tool that enhances the readability and usability of nix-build output by providing pretty, parsed summaries and highlighting important events during Nix builds. This was an experiment to write something fun and useful in Haskell, which proved to be useful to quite a lot of people. By now, nom is quite fully featured with support for nix v1 commands (e.g. nix-build) and nix v2 commands (e.g. nix build). At this point it seems like I will maintain nom until better UX options for nix arrive. Every entry in the nom tree stands for one derivation. No build will be printed twice in the tree, it will only be shown for the lowermost dependency. Use the colors from above to read the summary. -

Yay
An AUR Helper written in Go
Yay uses an hash cache for development packages. Normally it is updated at the end of the package install with the message Found git repo. If you transition between aur helpers and did not install the devel package using yay at some point, it is possible it never got added to the cache. yay -Y --gendb will fix the current version of every devel package and start checking from there. Yay resolves all dependencies ahead of time. You are free to edit the PKGBUILD in any way, but any problems you cause are your own and should not be reported unless they can be reproduced with the original PKGBUILD. Yay uses git diff to display diffs, which by default tells less not to page if the output can fit into one terminal length. This behavior can be overridden by exporting your own flags (export LESS=SRX). Use yay -Y --devel --save to make development package updates permanently enabled (yay and yay -Syu will then always check dev packages). -

GNU make compatible but reliable and simpler build tool
Makepp, a build program which has a number of features that allow for reliable builds and simpler build files, is a drop-in replacement for GNU make. It supports almost all of the syntax that GNU make supports, and can be used with makefiles produced by utilities such as automake. It is called makepp (or make++) because it was designed with special support for C++, which has since been extended to other languages like Swig or embedded SQL.
